Son of Mina and Alex DICKSON, Beamish Street, Campsie, New South Wales.
Served in Egypt, Gallipoli, France and Ypres. Contracted illness and was invalided to Leicester War Hospital. Recovered and returned to duty to be wounded at Morlancourt 19 June 1918. Returned to Australia 29 December 1918 and discharged 7 April 1919.
