Sergeant Thomas Buchanan Austin, brother of Mrs. S. Kenard, of Black wall, has been awarded the DCM and also the Military Medal for conspicuous gallantry in France. He is attached to the Engineers, and has served in Gallipoli, Egypt and France. His brother, Private Robert Austin, also of the Engineers, is at present on duty at the front.
