Peter's parents were pioneers Peter Boardman and Elizabeth Williamson who lived at Woody Point. Peter attended Humpybong State School. At the time of enlistment in October 1916 Peter (Junior) was farming at Nanango. He returned to Nanango at war's end and married Cora Leola Levick in 1922.
