WEDDING IN EGYPT
Miss Florence St. George Sproule was the ninth army nursing sister to be married in the Garrison Chapel, Abbassia, Egypt. On March 27 her wedding was celebrated there with Captain Walter Green Ivor Frederick Steele Hewett (2nd L.H. A.T.F.), son of Mr. T. P. Hewett. St. James Square, London. This Harrison Chapel is part of the Australian General Hospital Building. Sister Sproule was attached to No. 1 Australian General Hospital. The bridal party was in uniform. The bride, who was given away by Colonel W. E. Summons, A.A..M.C. (Camberwell), wore a mess uniform of grey silk. Miss Lorna Cook (Flinders), her bridesmaid, who is engaged in patriotic work in Egypt, appeared in her Red Cross uniform. Mrs. Hewett, who is a daughter of the late Mr. James Sproule, of Flinders, returned recently to Melbourne. At present she is staying with Mr. W. St. G. Sproule, her brother, at "Rete," Barry street, Kew.
