Leading Aircraftman Keith Edward Reddin (Service No:83253) served in the RAAF from 22 May 1943 to 21 May 1946 and was attached to HQ North Western Area at Discharge. LAC Reddin was the youngest of four brothers (Stanley, Raymond and Gerald) who served in WWII.
Keith was born in 1913 in Albany WA, the youngest of four children (sons) of William Reddin (b1874 in Albany, WA) and Alice Eliza Pollard (b1874 at Guildford, WA). William (a Boatman) and Alice married in 1900 in Albany WA and lived at the Pilot Station in Albany where William was a Boatman. In the early 1920s the family moved to Perth, where William worked as a Labourer.
Keith worked as an Undertaker's Assistant in Perth and in 1939 married Eileen Mona Raitt (b1917 in Perth, WA). Following Keith's Discharge from the RAAF, he and Eileen settled in Perth where Keith worked as a Clerk and then as an Accountant. Keith died in 1979 and Eileen in 2013.
