"OBITUARY COL. A. R. WOOLCOCK

Lieut-Colonel A. R. Woolcock, who commanded Queensland's 42nd Infantry Battalion, A.I.F., in World War I, has died in Sydney, he was 68, and had been in failing health. A native of Rockhampton, he was secretary there of Sidney Williams and Co. On his return he took up the management of the Sydney branch of that firm, but his health forced him to retire about 10 years ago." - from the Courier Mail 11 Jun 1947 (nla.gov.au)
