Son of Adam and Jeanie COWIE
Arrived in Australia in 1926 and moved to Stanhope in 1927. Married Irene STILLMAN 12 April 1941 at Stanhope.
Alex served in Darwin and Melville Bay N.T. with an Airfield Construction Squadron.
He retired from dairy farming in 1979.
