Hermann was born 22nd May 1895 Eagleby Qld.
Died 27th January 1953 in Loganlea.
He is buried in the Logan Reserve Cemetery Logan City.
His parents were Herman August Robert and Johanne Dorothea nee Dreier
He married Alvine Auguste nee Schmidt on the 18th May 1921 at the Lutheran Church Logan Reserve.
He enlisted on the 27rth September 1916 in Brisbane
Embarked 25th November 1916 on the HMAT A 72 Beltana
Returned to Australia on the 19th June 1919 on the Lancashire.
Armistice Day 1918 he was in England.
He is listed with the Logan Village Museum Honour Roll as his family were Pioneers of the District.
