Next of kin was given as his brother James Vaughan of Lismore, NSW.

Commenced return to Australia on 5 November 1917 aboard HT Themistocles disembarking on 23 December 1917 at Perth, WA.

Medals: 1914-1915 Star, British War Medal Victory Medal.
