Returned Soldier Dies
COMRADES ATTEND FUNERAL
James Jackson Richards, who died at the Port Lincoln Hospital last Monday, at the age of 44 years, had been in ill-health for several years. With Mr. C W. Treble, he had conducted a carrying business in Port Lincoln. A returned soldier, Mr. Richards was buried in the soldiers' section of Happy Valley Cemetery last Tuesday morning. Messrs, H. R. Hannam, C McMurtrie (members of the local sub-branch of the Returned Sailors and Soldiers' Imperial League) were pall-bearers, and Rev. Eric Tregilgas read the service. A number of returned soldiers attended. Mr. Richards left a widow and four children.
