17 December 1916 - Awarded 24 detention for being aslep at his station

20 January 1917 - Found guilty of being AWOL, fined 1 days pay

29 September 1918 - AWOL from hospital, find 2 days pay

27 October 1918 - to hospital with influenza

24 December 1918 - Returned to Australia
