Son of William Quinert and Alice Maud Quinert nee Manton of Armstrong Street, Ballarat, Victoria.
Brother of William Norwood Quinert who returned to Australia on 7 July 1919 having served with the 2nd Australian General Hospital and Gilbert Hope Quinert who returned to Australia on 18 August 1919 having served with the 2nd Australian General Hospital
