Add my storyBiography contributed by Stephen Brooks
Claude only arrived in Australia during 1914 from Devon, England. His brother Royston Leopold Harold Anstis 25th Battalion, was killed in action only two months later on 30 October 1917.
Claude's mother stated he "Went to Australia to learn farming." In his service file Claude was said to be "Buried near the entrance to Fannys Farm", with a map reference, however his grave was lost.
