Alexander was the son of Ewen Scott MacKenzie and Eliza Jane MacKenzie nee Scott.
After the death of Willa in1949, Alexander married Mary Elizabeth Carmichael in 1952.
Alexander passed away at Heidelberg on 19.8.1971. He is remembered at Springvale Botanical Cemetery.
