Ordinary Seaman K.O. Medelsohn, R.N. is the younger son of Mrs. Merle Winifred Mendelsohn of Centre Road, Brigghton and is reported to be a prisoner of war in Japanese hands.  He is 20 years of age and was educated at Wesley College.  At the time of his enlistment he was employed at the National Bank, Collins Street.  His only brother Geoffrey, is serving with the A.I.F.
