Walter Delwyn PERKINS was born in Oatlands in Tasmania in 1890
His parents were Thomas Hedley PERKINS & Emma DAWSON who married in Fingal, Tasmania on 25th April, 1883

His brother Reginald Trevor PERKINS (SN 202) also served during WW1 in the Army (1st Field Ambulance) and was awarded a Military Medal - he returned to Australia in 1918
