Frank Horace ALLSHORN was born in 1872 in Stratford, England
His parents were Frederick ALLSHORN & Esther HOW
He married Emma Elizabeth SWEENEY in England in 1893
Frank had previously served as a Staff Sergeant in the Essex Territorials before the family emigrated to Australia on the ship Salamis in 1909
His son Frank Horace Frederick ALLSHORN (SN1712) also served in WW1 and returned to Australia in 1919
