The details provided are taken from the book "Stealth Raiders - a few daring men in 1918" written by Lucas Jordan, published 2017, refer to page 276. Prior to the war he was printer of Thornbury Vic. He enlisted 13th July 1918 aged 28 years and served with the 59th Infantry Battalion. He survived the few weeks of the war, and departed the UK for home 18th July 1919.
