Anti Aircraft Training Regiment/s / units

Pre-war artillery training including Anti Aircraft (such as there was), was managed within Regiments except specialist Officer and NCO training which was conducted at the School of Artillery North Head.

As AA units deeloped, they folloqwed a similar pattern with transient AIF AA Units until a single training Regiment was formed in each Commandwhich had various titles until settling on a naming convention based on the senior LAA Regiment from the Command.

In Oct 1942 they were all reorganised into a standard structure  and in April 1943, all artillery training depots were centralised at Greta in NSW.

Training establishments were scaled back from May 1944.
