About This Unit
Cash offices were not 'units' per se. They were small detachments attached to Formation (Brigade and above) or Adminstrative Headquarters. They were manned by Royal Australian Army Pay Corps personnel, and administered pay and other functions such as local purchase / procurement and so on that required the provision of cash.
