About This Unit
AMF Field Company Engineers - WW2
Engineers were generally organised into 'Field Companies' of about 200 men and attached to an Infantry or Armoured Brigade; they largely
inherited the numbering system applied in WW1.
This identity has been created to differentiate the Field Squadrons of WW1 and WW2.
