Calypso was a 2,876 GRT steam passenger/cargo ship (ref) completed in 1904 by Earle's Shipbuilding & Engineering Co. for T.Wilson, Sons & Co. Ltd. She is reported as was sunk on 11 July 1916 by torpedo fired by German submarine U-53 approximately 15 nautical miles West of Listafjord, Norway. She was en route from London to Christiana with a general cargo
