The British steamer Glengyle, 9395 tons, which was sunk by an enemy submarine,had on board -10 passengers and a crew of 104. The second officer a steward, the second gunner and seven Chinese are missing. The vessel had a valuable cargo of butter and eggs. Before leaving Port Said the steamer took on a gun for defensive purposes. The captain has arrived at Malta.
