20 May 1916 - Taken on strength at Ferry Post
19 June 1916 - Embarkde HT Huntsend at Alezandria to join BEF
26 June 1916 - Disembarked at Marseilles
14 July 1916 - A Court of Inquiry, presided over by Major A.J. G. Simpson, was held regarding the death of John Witton. It found that Joh was shot by a sentry after being challenged three times. Private Witton had gone over the parapet without orders and neglected to tell the men on either side. It was found that the sentry was justified to shoot under the circumstances
