Add my storyBiography contributed by Geoffrey Gillon
He was 26 and the son of George and Maria Clarke, of Hinderclay, Diss, Norfolk, England. Birth registration not found, but his attestation record states his place of birth as Oakly [sic] near Eye, Suffolk.
It is believed with a reasonable degree of confidence that the Ernest Clarke recorded on the Roll of Honour in Stilton Church, Huntingdonshire, is this Ernest Clarke.
