When I was 3 I had two water colour paintings and a pears soap poster framed in the house of my parents rented I don’t know where they would have got them, probably at a junk sale, as they were not of any note, but on taking the posters out to restore back in 1969, we noted the cardboard backings had Lionel Claude guy certificates of death sent to the families by the council, there were two, one by Kew and one by Collingwood council, I have spent years researching this lost soldier, his service history. He has his name at the Kew and the Beckett park war memorial,
