MAN KILLED
Launceston Accident
LAUNCESTON, Friday.
A fatality occurred today at the Woolgrowers' promises, when Percy Pitt, a married man, aged 28 years, was killed. He was standing at the door of the store beside a shute, when a motor lorry backed in and knocked down the shute, which fell on Pitt, smashing his skull. Death was instantaneous.
