Son of Augustus and Francis E HUGHES, 6 Serle Street, Petersham, NSW

Harry served in Egypt and France and was wounded 10 April 1918 and invalided to General Hospital, France.  Rejoined unit 26 April 1918. Awarded Military Medal for Conspicuous Bravery.
