DEATH OF CORPORAL M. MUDGE.

Nurse Mudge, of the Broken Hilland District Hospital, has received information that her brother, Corporal Malcolm Mudge, 3rd Light Horse, died on October 11 at the 66th Casualty Clearing Station, Egypt, the cause of death being bronchial pneumonia supervening upon malarial fever. Corporal Mudge, who was 27 years of age, was the eldest son of Mrs. S. Mudge, of North Broken Hill, who is at present at Moree, where another son, Mr.Verney Mudge, who has returned from the front, resides. Corporal Mudge enlisted in January, 1916, and sailed in October after being stationed at Mitcham Camp as an instructor. He had ever since been in Palestine. Prior to enlisting he was an assayer at the Zinc Corporation. He spent a year in New Zealand, however, after the out-break of war, and came back to Bro-ken Hill for the purpose of enlisting.
