3751 Private (Pte) Bertram Arthur Grose. A postman from Windsor, Victoria prior to enlistment, Pte Grose embarked with the 12th Reinforcements, 14th Battalion from Melbourne on HMAT Ceramic on 23 November 1915. Following his arrival in England he transferred to the Army Postal Corps and was promoted to Corporal. Later suffering from bronchitis he returned to Australia on 31 March 1919 and was medically discharged.
