Private W. H. O'Neill (killed) was 29 years old, and, as his parents died when he was young, he had lived the early part of his life with Mr. Taylor, of Branxton, New South Wales. Latterly he had been In the employment of Mr. J. H. Wood, "Abbey Lands," Gunnedah Road, Tamworth. The deceased was a prominent sportsman.
