Private F. J. WISE, third son of Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Wise, Quorn, died of wounds in France on August 14. He enlisted in August, 1915. He was born at Quorn, and was 22 years of age. He received his education at the Quorn Public School. At the time of enlistment he was a fireman on the northern system. He was highly esteemed. A younger brother Private F. J. Wise, is on active service.
