Son of Thomas Ferguson and Kate Ferguson nee Blannin of 'Majors Hill', Mount Martha, Victoria

Brother of Acland Roy Blannin-Ferguson who was discharged from the AIF on 7 January 1916 to serve with the Gloucestershire Regiment. He later returned to Australia in 1921; brother of Lance Sisca Blannnin-Ferguson who was killed in action on 25 April 1915 while serving with the 7th Battalion and has no known grave. His name appears on the Lone Pine Memorial, Panel 28
