Son of Frederick John O'Neale and Jane O'Neale nee Lynch of Brunswick Street, North Fitzroy, Victoria.
Commened return to Australia via Taranto, Italy on 8 October 1918 aboard Kaiser-i-Hind then transhipped aboard HT Port Sydney at Suez disembarking in Melbourne on 3 December 1918
