Son of Robert and Mary Jane Knox, of Redhill, Dookie, Victoria, Australia.

KNOX.- Died of wounds, at the 3rd Canadian Casualty Clearing Station, France, on 21st September, 1917, Private William Robert Knox, 6th Battn.,  dearly loved son of Mary Jane and the late Robert Knox, of Dookie, and brother of Mrs. Watt, Lizzie, Tom, Mrs. W. Le Lievre, Joe, Jack, Andy, Mrs. S.  Robinson, Mrs. J. Hetherington, Kitty, Ethel, and Arthur Knox, aged 32 years. Two years and two months active service.

William Robert Knox, of Dookie, farmer, who was killed in action in France on September 2nd., 1917, left by will dated January 26th., 1915, real estate  valued at £1958, and personal property valued at £1207, to his father, who predeceased tesator.
