Son of Louis and Matilde TANZER
News has been received that Sapper C W Tanzer, son of Mrs M Tanzer Esther Road Balmoral, Mosman, died of wounds received in France on June 3, after 2 years service. He was severely wounded in April 1917 and after many weeks in hospital returned to his company. He was attached to the North Sydney post office as a letter sorter. Two brothers are on active service.
