"...4163 Private George Alfred Ernest Croft... 5th Battalion. A baker from Barker's Creek, Vic, prior to enlistment, Pte Croft embarked with the 13th Reinforcements from Melbourne aboard HMAT Demosthenes (A64) on 29 December 1915.
