Salisbury Plains, April 16 – My Dear Father,
Just a Post Card to let you know that both Willie & myself are well. Hoping this finds you & all at home quite well. I may tell you we are having good weather here now glad to say so for they need it the front there will be something doing over there now. This is pretty crook photo but you couldn’t expect it any better only taken in a small village but you know it’s me alright. Well Father I hope we will soon be able to see you all again. I must conclude with best love from Willie & myself. I must say good bye. I remain yours ever loving Son,
