Son of John Quillan and Margaret Quillan of Frankland Street, Glasgow, Scotland. 

Brother of James Quillan who was discharged in London and commenced return to Australia on 17 Apirl 1920  having served with the 4th Battalion.

Husband of Susan Quillan of Rowntree Street, Balmain, NSW.

Commenced return to Australia on 23 July 1919 aboard HT Suevic disembarking on 10 September 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney
