Served in WWI as Trooper 2nd King Edwwards Horse 26 July 1915 - 19 March 1916. 2nd Lieut 6th Battalion East Kent Regiment 'The Buffs' 37 Brigade. Wounded in action 01 December 1917, Air Ministry 13 April 1918
