Far away in France he is lying,
Far away from the land of his birth,

IRWIN— Died of wounds received in France, October 16, 1917, Private Charles Duff Irwin, aged 19 years.
So dearly loved, so deeply mourned,
Though he lies in a far-off grave,
And we think of his life, a duty done,
Manly, unselfish and brave.
Inserted by his loving sister and
brother-in-law, Mr, and Mrs. Will
Robinson, Young.
