LEGACY CLUB'S NEW PRESIDENT
Mr. Sinclair was granted his commission in 1914 with the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Irish Rifles, and was invalided home In 1916. In 1917 he again returned to Prance with the 1st Battalion Royal Irish Rifles, and received a further 'issue' when he was wounded ooposite St. Ouentin in February, 1918. He was discharged from hospital and from service in January 1919.
In 1921 he came to Australia on a business visitt and returned again in 1922, declding to live here. Mr Sinclair married Mary Alderson the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Alderson, of Double Bay. They have two children, Beatrice, aged 9 and George, aged 4. Mr. Sinclair has been a very hard worker for the Legacy Club for many years.
