His parents were Andrew LABAT & Mary Anne (Maria) De BURGH

He married Mary Josephine KIVIL in 1893 in West Derby, England and had one daughter Flora Mary born 1903 in West Derby - she married a Charles Patrick Heames MELVILLE in 1922 in South Australia - his wife Mary Josephine died in 1933 in South Australia
