Sometimes his surname is spelt as Osborn. Marital status given as widower. On 21 June 1911 Alfred had married Beatrice Evelyn Prideaux at the residence of Charles Prideaux of Wallaroo Mines, SA. Beatrice later died on 13 October 1912 on Kadina, SA
