Son of Percy Herbert Huish and Hannah Henrietta Bridal formerly Huish of Dareel Station, Dareel, QLD formerly of Burwood, NSW.

On 23 December 1918 Percy married  Annie B. Hibberd in Blythswood, Glasgow, Scotland. 

Commenced return to Australia on 6 September 1919 aboard HT Berrima disembarking on 8 November 1919 at Sydney for onward travel to Brisbane.
