Son of John and Eliza Merriman, Cumnock via Molong, New South Wales
PRIVATE ERNEST MERRIMAN,
Son of Mrs. J. Merriman, of Cumnock, who.has been killed in action in France. He was 25 years of age, and before enlistment was engaged in farming in the Yeoval district. He was a prominent district athlete, and a sturdy specimen of Australia's ' farmer-soldiers.
