Biography

Son of Phillip F and Charlotte B INGERSON of Farnham road, Keswick, SA

Mr. S. Ingerson received word from his parents last night of the death on December 14, of his brother, Driver Alex. Ingerson, the cause of death being  pneumonia. Word was received last week by Driver Ingerson's relatives of his being dangorusly ill, but it was hoped by them that his strong constitution might help to pull him through.
Driver Ingerson enlisted in Broken Hill, and left for Egypt on November 1915. He was attached to the 18th Battery of Artillery, and was among the first  Australians to enter in France, landing at Marseilles in March 1916, According to his recent letters he was then on the Ypres front, in Belgium.
