Allan was born in Foster in 1920 the son of Thomas Eddy Pollard and Phoebe Jane Oram.
He was discharged from the Army on 16 February 1942. Reason for discharge - Reserved Occupation.
He married May Evelyn Williamson in 1942. They had three children
