Patrick Michael McCormick was born the 6th of 7 children in Nagambie in 1920

Pat moved to Melbourne (Essendon) with the family in the late 1920’s,as a 7 or 8 year old.
Australia was just going into the great depression and the hardships that were to be felt by all families at that time.
Pat loved his cricket and played local cricket for quite a time.
Icluding after his Army service.
Pat's employment was mostly in retail sales (carpet)
Pat married Kathleen Reilly from Warragul Victoria on 29/6/1957
They had 3 children John William 1958, Mary Catherine 1959 and Anne Elizabeth in 1961.
Pat & Kath lived and raised their family in W/Brunswick, until their deaths, 4 years apart Kath 1984 & Pat 1988
