Bert married Gwendoline Trigwell 6 June 1923 All Saints Church, Doonybrook. WA. 2 of their sons served in WW2. Brian John Jarvis (80916) & Leslie Charles Jarvis (WX40058)

South Western News – Busselton 6 June 1919
Signaller Bert Jarvis, for a number of years connected with the local post office and late of Mekatharra, returned to Busselton on Tuesday after three and a half years service abroad. "Bert" is staying with his sisters, Mrs T. Prosser and Misses L. and A Jarvis, of Albert Street.
